A great evening in Sydney saw journalists from SBS to the SMH, Are Media to the ABC, The Nightly to Newswire, and Australian Doctor to The Daily Aus get together to create some new connections and reconnect with friends in the industry.

Nearly 40 journalists from a wide range of media outlets joined the Telum Media team in Singapore's Suntec City for our latest Journalist Social. Representatives from Bloomberg, CNBC, CNA, The Business Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, and Dow Jones Newswires were in attendance, making it a vibrant evening of networking and industry connections.

Media releases aren’t disappearing, but the way journalists engage with them has changed significantly. The first webinar in our new Practitioner Series drew on Telum Media's research with journalists globally to look at the modern media release.

More than 230 PR pros joined us for this webinar on pitching. Based on over 10,000 survey responses from journalists in the Telum Media platform, the session provided practical guidance on what journalists actually want and value from PR pitches.

Telum Media moderated a panel discussion with Sequencr AI CEO, Matt Collette, PRCA APAC Chair, Jeremy Seow and Tanoto Foundation's Yeelim Lee looking at how comms teams are moving from generative to agentic AI, the challenges, opportunities and learnings.
